support and involvement
EMPOWERMENT (support) is all about passing on responsibility and co-ownership when leading your development. It is also about finding your priorities on your way, as well as about supporting those, who we help to find their own way.
ENGAGEMENT (being involved) is a key skill for enhancing the position and passing on responsibility within empowerment. Sometimes you need to be able to divide those two areas and understand its connectivity. You can be involved (engaged), but it still doesn’t make you responsible or empowered. On the other hand, if you are co-responsible, empowered and feel internal symbiosis, you are positively engaged.
Within Engagement a Empowerment we focus on:
- Setting the DNA of the team AKA how do we want to exist;
- Identification and setting of strengths and its use within performance;
- SDI – Self Deployment Inventory – team profiling tool – questionnaire tool for identification of strengths of individuals and teams and mutual expectations;
- Setting the values and principles of cooperation within our team;
- Setting the vision / action plan;
- Team cooperation;
- Enhancing trust.
