EMPOWERMENT (support) is about passing the responsibility and co-ownership in management of your development. It is also about finding priorities within your way, but also about helping those you are helping to find their own way.
ENGAGEMENT (being involved) is a key skills for strengthening the position and passing on responsibility within empowerment. Sometimes you nedd to be able to divide these two areas and understand their link. You can be involved (engaged), but it still doesn’t mean that you are responsible or empowered. On the other hand, whe you are co-responsible, feel inner involvement and are empowered, you are positively engaged.
Within Engagement and Empowerment we focus on:
- Setting the team DNA AKA how do you want to function;
- Identification and setting of strengths of the team and using these within performance;
- SDI – Self Deployment Inventory – team profiling tool – questionnaire tool for identification of team and individual strengths and mutual expectations;
- Setting the values and principles of cooperation in our team;
- Setting the vision / action plan;
